Xbox One HDMI Input

Whilst they have done a 180 on a lot of features, if you skip forward to the 5:10 mark you will see Marjor Nelson talking about the HDMI Input and the ability to connect your Xbox 360 (the slim and the super slim were designed to compliment the Xbox One aesthetically) to your Xbox One and run your 360 hardware and software (read: games) through the Xbox One’s UI.

Major Nelson commented:

“Absolutely; you can certainly plug an Xbox 360 in the back – that was one of my first questions when I heard about the [HDMI-in] feature.

It’s the only console right now that has HDMI-in, and it’s going to absolutely allow you to plug in your, for instance, your cable, your set-top box”

I don’t know about anyone else but this had made me a whole lot more interested in the Xbox One.

What do you think? Is this something that you will do to be able to play your Xbox 360 games? Let us know in the comments below.
